TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By purchasing travel services or accepting transportation from Bahamas Fly, all passengers agree to be bound hereby our Terms and Conditions and Policy and Procedures.

FLIGHT INFORMATION

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE AIRPORT?

Travelers should arrive at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to scheduled departure to ensure an on-time departure.

WHERE DO I GO TO CATCH MY FLIGHT?

Flights departing from Nassau, Bahamas will depart from a private terminal on the field, called FBOs (Fixed-Based Operators). These terminals are where you meet your pilot for your flight.

Flight confirmations will include addresses and contact information for the private terminals for your flights. If you would like to use a specific FBO, you may request it upon submitting your quote. For all other airports, flights will depart from the local terminal.

LATE ARRIVALS

Bahamas Fly will attempt to accommodate changes in departure time, passengers, departure or arrival airport, or aircraft type requested by travelers. Travelers arriving after their scheduled departure time are not guaranteed flight availability. If Bahamas Fly is not able to accommodate late passenger(s), the flight will be treated as a PASSENGER NO-SHOW, and is subject to such terms and conditions concerning no-shows.

If Bahamas Fly can accommodate a late passenger, and the request for that passenger was made at least three (3) hours in advance of the original departure time, then the departure time may be rescheduled without wait fee charges.

 

WEIGHT LIMITATIONS & BAGGAGE

All Bahamas Fly flights are conducted within aircraft operating and maximum weight limitations.

There isn’t a specific limit to the number of bags that you can bring.

For combined weight of all passengers and baggage, there are weight limitations and adhering to these limitations is vital for safe aircraft operations. Therefore, for each flight, travelers will be provided with a maximum weight limit that applies to the total weight of all passengers and baggage. **

 

PETS

Pets under thirty (30) pounds may fly on-board accompanied by a traveling passenger and must be kept in a suitable carrier (i.e. kennel) for transport and able to remain there for the duration of the flight, under the following conditions:

1. Bahamas Fly must be notified of your intention to bring a pet at the time of booking.

2. In limited special arrangements can be made (such as in the case of service animals).

3. Max 2 pets per flight.

** Weight limitations for combined passenger and baggage weight still apply.

 

RESERVATIONS

Bahamas Fly requires Reservation Confirmation document(s) to be presented, during the time of departure, with name matching the passenger reservation manifest for each flight. No person will be entitled to transportation on any Bahamas Fly chartered flight without presenting a Reservation Confirmation.

Reservations are non-transferable, and Bahamas Fly is not liable to reservation owner, should we choose to honor any reservation presented by another person. Any passenger-initiated changes to such transportation or reservation may or may not result in a change in price, assessment of monetary penalties, or loss of transportation value. Bahamas Fly reserves the right to approve or not any last-minute change requests as according to our Terms and Conditions, listed here.

PASSENGER MANIFEST INFORMATION

1. Passenger Travel Information is needed during the initial booking for the manifest.

2. Bahamas Fly is not liable for any incorrect or misleading information, any passenger provides, at the time of initial flight booking reservation.

REQUIRED DOCUMENT(s)

1. Reservation Confirmation.

2. No passenger ID needed for private flights.

PAYMENT

All travel must be paid in full prior to any scheduled departure times. Bahamas Fly accepts the following:

Bahamas Fly requires a major credit or debit card on file or funds wired in advance of any scheduled flight. Credit/Debit cards will be charged immediately.

Bahamas Fly wants all its passengers to know that your safety is our primary concern, along with ensuring accessibility to all our travelers.

CANCELLATIONS, DELAYS, OR FLIGHT RESCHEDULES

Bahamas Fly will use reasonable efforts to arrange the transport and baggage of all travelers. Cancellations, delays, or flight reschedules may occur under the following conditions:

CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY PASSENGER

There is no guarantee that requested flight changes are available, but we will do our best to accommodate requests to reschedule flights. Any flight change request made by a customer, that can be accommodated, is subject to change fees. This includes changes in departure time, departure airport, or destination airport.

1. Flights may be canceled up to 24-hours prior to the scheduled flight time.

2. All cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time are eligible for a reservation refund, but will incur a $175 cancellation fee per scheduled leg.

3. A flight that is canceled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled flight time will be subject to a cancellation fee of $600.

4. Any cancellation made within 3 hours of departure will be considered a NO-SHOW. No refunds will be given.

5. Passengers that do not arrive for their reserved flight, or cancel the flight with less than 3 hours’ notice, will incur a charge of the full trip price. No refunds will be given.

BAD WEATHER

Certain weather conditions can affect a flight. Rain or cloudy conditions alone will generally not cause flights to be canceled. Weather conditions that may cause a delayed or cancelled flight include widespread thunderstorms or severe winds.

Bahamas Fly is committed to keeping our passengers safe and will not operate flights in hazardous weather conditions. We will contact you if weather conditions require a change to your flight.

In the event of any delay greater than one (1) hour or cancellation initiated by Bahamas Fly, due to bad weather, the following options will be available to passengers:

1. No cancellation charge or additional charges for any flights canceled or delayed.

2. Credit towards a new flight with Bahamas Fly, good for future flights for (one) 1 year from the date of issuance.

CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY BAHAMAS FLY

All travelers who have not arrived at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to their scheduled departure time, checked-in at least thirty (30) minutes after their scheduled departure time, and who have not notified Bahamas Fly of any delays, forfeit the opportunity to complete any flight reservations and itinerary, or reschedule any new flight for the same day. Bahamas Fly reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $600 or more or consider the flight a NO SHOW, to which no refund will be given or provided.

CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY FORCE MAJEURE

Bahamas Fly, as applicable in the event of a force majeure event, may without notice, cancel, terminate, divert, postpone, or delay any flight or reservation, and determine if any departure or landing should be made, without liability except to refund for any unused portion of the reservation.

No compensation or amenities will be provided to a passenger on flights that are delayed or cancelled due to any force majeure event, without liability except to refund for any unused portion of the reservation.

FORCE MAJEURE EVENTS INCLUDE:

1. Any condition beyond Bahamas Fly’s control (including but without limitation, meteorological conditions, acts of God, airport traffic congestion, FAA or air traffic control flight restrictions, delays, riots, embargoes, hostilities, or unsettled international conditions whether actual, threatened or reported) or because of delay, demand, circumstances, or requirements due, directly, or indirectly, to such condition;

2. Any government regulation, demand, or requirement;

3. Any shortage of labor, fuel or facilities of Bahamas Fly or others; or

4. Any other fact not reasonably foreseen, anticipated, or predicted by Bahamas Fly, etc.

 

REFUSAL TO TRANSPORT

Bahamas Fly may refuse to book transport for, authorize the commencement of an already-booked trip for, or may request that a Pilot remove at any point, any passengers who fail to, when necessary, comply with government regulations; when necessary for the safety and/or comfort of themselves or other passengers; or when the customer’s conduct is disorderly, abusive, or violent towards Bahamas Fly employees, including its Pilots.

No compensation, amenities, or refunds will be provided to a passenger on flights where Bahamas Fly have refused transport.

 

SMOKING

Smoking is prohibited on all Bahamas Fly flights.

 

RIGHT OF BAHAMAS FLY TO CHANGE THESE TERMS

Bahamas Fly reserves the right to change the terms and conditions, proposed flight times, pricing, and apply any funds to a future flight we deem necessary, without notice and exception.
